VinExpo Wrap Up

Well if that wasn't a whirlwind week, I don't know what is!  We are so thankful to our wonderful suppliers for allowing us to share a booth and help promote our Clearly Organic line to the Hong Kong market.  Thanks for all of your help, Blanca!

Clearly Organic and HOFWs

Day 2 was just as busy as the first!  People were constantly flittering between vendors trying to find the next GREAT thing.  And most of them stopped by for a little foie gras and truffles with us :)  We were lucky enough to take turns sneaking off to see what was out there.  Well here's a little taste:

Greg's favorites of the week came from Burgundy and Margeaux

Julia favored some wines from the South of France;  especially from Vignerons Catalans the Vins Doux Naturel, old cuvee of 1964.

Lauren enjoyed Cotes de Rhones (LOVE the Garnache and the Chateauneuf du Pape from the South), Oregon Pinot Noirs, and South Africa Chenin Blanc and Pinotage.

New to everyone were the Uruguayan wines, which were surprisingly more French than South American.  Who knew?

Also surprising was the amount of Organic wines from every region.  I kew France and the US were pretty into it, but turns out EVERYONE in Spain is going tha way, as is Australia and the majority of other regions.  I guess being in Asia, we just don't hear about it so much.  It'll catch on soon I suppose.

Young Lionel came to help

But at the end of the day it was all about Spain and our Clearly Organic wines!  They were well recieved, as they always are at tastings, and we hope that the HK market will take notice!
